This festival is famous among Tamils which is popularly known as the festival of lights. This festival is celebrated grandly throughout the country. This festival celebration includes new dresses, sweets, colorful sparklers fireworks, online crackers etc.
Mainly, five days are observed as Diwali. Dahnteras, Choti Diwali, Badi Diwali or Lakshmi Puja, Govardhan Puja and Bhai Duj are the five days of the Diwali celebrations. Each of these days has its own significance and history related to the divine celebration.
This is the festival of colors. This festival is celebrated as an identity of victory of the good over evils. The celebrations of this festival are through a carnival of colors. This festival is held in the month of March every year where people thoroughly enjoy with each other by smudging colors on each other’s face. Children mix colors in liquid form, put them in the spray gun and spray them on each other. Colors mixed with water are also filled inside tiny balloons and thrown on the people. Bhaang, a mixture made from cannabis plants is also consumed during this festival.

This is celebrated in the month of September where people celebrate the birth of Lord Ganesh. People construct massive idol of lord Ganesh and devoted these idols with prayers.
This is the festival of Islams that is people belong to the Muslim religion. The Islamic people in the country celebrate Eid also called as Ramzan. The Islamic people are in fasting throughout the Ramzan month and finish their fasting on this big day. On this day, people wear new dresses and read Namaz and share their love and blessings.
